- Start/end: November 1, 2026, ongoing; specific coverage blocks available through December
- Schedule: 24-hour beeper call, 6am-6am
- Coverage type: Inpatient call only
- Setting: Approximately 80% NICU / 20% pediatrics; NICU patients down to 32 weeks
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: 30-60 days; temporary privileges available for qualified clean-file candidates Clinical Details
- Required scope: Pediatric hospitalist with neonatology experience OR neonatologist comfortable managing pediatric patients
- Required scope: Newborn resuscitation and management of premature infants 32 weeks and above
- Required scope: Neonatal airway management including intubation
- Required scope: Management of neonatal air leak/pneumothorax including needle decompression
- Required scope: Emergent UVC placement, UVC/UAC placement, lumbar puncture, and EKG interpretation
- Preferred scope: Ventilator management and neonatal chest tube insertion Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency
- License: active CA license required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP
- Active DEA Compensation
- Rate caps apply per facility
