Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at Northern Medical Group in our Mahopac and Brewster offices. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality healthcare to children, ensuring their well-being and development aligns with our mission to provide comprehensive medical services.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments for pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to families regarding health management.
- Administer vaccinations and perform routine procedures as needed.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
Master s degree in Nursing with specialization as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP).
- Valid state nursing license.
Master's Degree from Accredited PA Program
- Significant patient care experience
- Valid state license
- Experience working with children in a clinical setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric health issues and treatments.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably ECW.
