Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner

Harker Heights, Texas - Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Job Opportunity

• Clinical Role:

  • Seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)

  • Permanent job opening

  • Must have completed formal pediatric-focused Nurse Practitioner training

  • Must have at least 1 year of post-training experience working with pediatric patients

  • Must be passionate about working with underserved pediatric populations and improving access to high-quality healthcare

  • Patient census: approximately 14-16 patients per day

  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, including well-child visits, sick visits, preventative care, developmental screenings, immunizations, and management of common acute and chronic pediatric conditions

  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required

  • Must have a current, valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas or be eligible to obtain one

  • Must hold appropriate pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)

  • Must possess strong computer/technology skills to efficiently document using the EMR system, conduct telemedicine visits when applicable, and communicate virtually with colleagues
