Pediatric Endocrinologist Opportunity with Kaiser Permanente in Northern California
Pediatrics Endocrinology Physician Opportunity in Oakland, CA: The Department of Pediatric Specialties at the Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our team. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in pediatric endocrinology and be able to obtain a license in California.
Responsibilities for this clinical position include care for pediatric endocrinology patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting starting as early as Spring of 2025. The Oakland Medical Center serves as a Regional Tertiary care center and includes a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a Pediatric Ward, and a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Hospitalists and Pediatric Critical Care/Intensivists. The center also has a robust pediatric subspecialty department with staff for Cardiology, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology & Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Child Abuse, Genetics, PM&R, and Pediatric Surgical Specialties. Other members of our pediatric endocrinology teams include nurse case managers, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, pediatric dieticians, and social workers. All physicians equally share inpatient duties and provide care at our Oakland outpatient clinic and one of our satellite clinics located in Hayward, Walnut Creek, Vallejo, Santa Rosa, and San Francisco.
Hourly compensation: $141 - $145 per hour.
Requirements
- Board Certification or Eligibility in pediatric endocrinology
- Must be eligible to obtain a California medical license or be currently licensed to practice within California
