Pediatrician

Sanford Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatrician to join its primary care group at Sanford Clinic Worthington. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients from birth to young adulthood in a primarily outpatient setting, with some inpatient and newborn nursery responsibilities. • Primarily Outpatient Practice with Inpatient and Newborn Nursery responsibilities
• Group consists of Family Medicine, Ob/Gyn, Radiation and Medical Oncologists, General Surgeons, Pediatricians, Orthopedic Surgeon, Podiatrist, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalists, and various Advanced Practice Providers
• Provides Diabetic Education, Dietician, RN Care Manager and an Integrated Health Behavioral Therapist embedded in the clinic
• Collaborate with numerous pediatric sub-specialists within Sanford Children's
• Access to renowned Sanford Children's Hospital
• EPIC Electronic Medical Record

Responsibilities

• Admit (if applicable to setting), evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients from birth to young adulthood (21 years of age) concerning their physical, emotional, and social health
• Treat acute and chronic disease, including major complicated illnesses
• Provide care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with unit policies (if applicable)
• Assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services

Compensation

• Nationally competitive compensation plan
• Annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE): $244,280 - $316,127 plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
• Additional incentives may be offered
• Actual compensation offers may vary and are determined based on multiple factors including education, training, certification, experience, scope of practice and actual job requirements

Requirements

• H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available
• BE/BC pediatrician
• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency Pediatric program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
• Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/sub-specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
• If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
