Sanford Health is seeking a part-time, BC/BE Pediatrician to join their well-established Pediatric department at Marshfield Medical Center - Eau Claire in Wisconsin. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient and hospital care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, within a collegial team setting. Responsibilities
- Provide all aspects of routine outpatient care
- Provide hospital care of newborns, infants, children and adolescents
- Attend high-risk deliveries
- Provide outreach to our clinic in Chippewa Falls
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients from birth to young adulthood (21 years of age) concerning their physical, emotional, and social health
- Treat acute and chronic disease, including major complicated illnesses
- Provide care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with unit policies
- Assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services

Requirements
- BC/BE Pediatrician
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency Pediatric program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/sub-specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
- Demonstrate at least 50 pediatric patients in the last 12 months (via residency log, quality profile, or clinical setting activity documentation)
