Pediatrician

Position Summary

WVU Medicine – Summersville Regional Medical Center seeks a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to join a hospital-employed practice in Summersville, West Virginia.

Duties

• Successfully monitor and document the health and development of children, diagnosing and treating common ailments and minor injuries and referring to specialists for appropriate care.

Qualifications

• Must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license.
• Must have completed an accredited residency in General Pediatrics.
• Must be board certified or eligible in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
• All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

Practice Opportunity Details

Summersville Regional Medical Center is a critical access hospital. The pediatrician will practice in a traditional clinic and inpatient model.
