Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join a successful, well-established practice in Dickinson, a progressive community serving as a regional hub. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care to patients from birth to young adulthood. The incoming physician will join a collaborative team of pediatric, primary care, and OB/GYN providers, with access to an expanding team of Pediatric Specialists for consults.

- Join a team of 5 pediatric, 15 primary care, and 3 OB/GYN providers
- Potential outreach to rural communities
- Partner with an expanding team of Pediatric Specialists in Bismarck, ND that are available for consults
- Large referral area of western North Dakota, eastern Montana, and northern South Dakota
Responsibilities
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients from birth to young adulthood (21 years of age) concerning their physical, emotional, and social health
- Treat acute and chronic disease, including major complicated illnesses
- Provide care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with unit policies
- Assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services

Shift & Schedule
- 1:5 Call Schedule with approximately 50-60 deliveries per month
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency Pediatric program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/sub-specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
