Pediatrician

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking an experienced, board-certified Pediatrician to join an established general pediatrics practice in the Ormond Beach/Daytona Beach area. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values an outpatient-only practice, a collaborative team environment, and the support of an experienced clinical and administrative staff. The role involves managing patients of all ages in a supportive office setting, with no hospital call required as newborn and inpatient pediatric populations are managed by Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists.

• Traditional outpatient-only pediatric practice
• Full office staff support, including MAs, APPs, front desk staff, and more
• Join a team of experienced physicians and APPs

• Newborn and inpatient pediatric population managed by Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists
• Access to outpatient pediatric specialists
• EPIC EMR system
• Affiliation and partnership with AdventHealth for Children in Orlando, a 200+ bed tertiary children's hospital

Responsibilities

• Manage patients of all ages in a supportive office setting
• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C)
• Perform minor office-based procedures, including but not limited to: circumcisions, vaccinations, and CLIA-waived labs

Requirements

• Active Florida medical license, or the ability to secure an active, unrestricted license
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics
• Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C)
• Proficiency with minor office-based procedures, including but not limited to: circumcisions, vaccinations, and CLIA-waived labs
