Kennebec Pediatrics , a thriving, well-established practice of MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatrician to join their collegial team, meeting patients medical needs through compassionate, respectful and professional care.
Join a team of eight physicians at Kennebec Pediatrics along with a full complement of nursing and support staff in an outpatient setting, providing comprehensive medical care from infancy to young adulthood.
Highlights of the position include:
The schedule consists of 32 clinical hours and the benefit of 8 hours of scheduled, dedicated administrative time.
No evening clinic hours
No inpatient pediatric, Emergency Department or newborn nursery coverage
Call rotation consists of 1 in 8 weekends.
After-hours on-call service begins at 4:50 pm - 7:45 am on weekdays, and weekend call service begins from 2:00 pm to 9:00 am.
Third year medical students from UNE rotate through the practices.
Opportunity to also work per diem as a pediatric Hospitalist if desired, although not required.
