Provide medical care to patients ranging in age from newborns to young adults in inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform routine wellness exams, treat and prevent children’s diseases and injuries, and administer immunizations. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical conditions and determine diagnosis. In-patient responsibilities include attending c-sections and new-born nursery rounds.
Education and Experience Requirements
Requires M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent; completion of residency in Pediatrics, and eligibility for medical licensure in any U.S. state.
