Pediatric Urologist

Carilion Clinic and Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (VTCSOM) are seeking a fellowship-trained pediatric urologist to join their expanding Section of Urology. This role involves contributing to the academic and clinical urological missions in Southwest Virginia, with the goal of evolving to an independent department and establishing a urology residency training program. The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a growing program that was founded in 2023, serving a large patient population in a region previously without dedicated pediatric urology services.

• Primarily sees patients at the Carilion Children's Tanglewood Center, a multi-specialty outpatient pediatric clinic with 17 specialties, child life specialists, and a lab.
• Operates primarily at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital (CRMH), which has 24 pediatric inpatient beds, 8 Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) beds, and 60 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) beds.

Compensation

• Min Starting Salary: $497,384
• Max Starting Salary: $713,823
• Eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary
• Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary
