Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Urologist to join their multi-specialty pediatric clinic. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Pediatric Urologist and a nurse practitioner within the only free-standing children's hospital in South Dakota. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive urological care to pediatric patients in a collegial and busy practice environment.

- Join Sanford Children's Specialty Clinic, a multi-specialty pediatric clinic.
- Work with one BC Pediatric Urologist and one nurse practitioner.
- Part of a full range pediatric sub-specialty practice with 70+ sub-specialists.
- Practice in the only free-standing children's hospital in South Dakota.
- Manage general and complex pediatric urological conditions.
- Includes a well-run spina bifida clinic.
- Catchment area, including outreach clinics, is 1.5-2 million.
- The Children's Hospital has 146 beds with a Level 4 NICU (58 beds) and a PICU (12 beds).
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination for pediatric patients.
- Admit pediatric patients (if applicable to setting).
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide consultation and treatment to pediatric patients with congenital anomalies.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide consultation and treatment to pediatric patients with childhood-acquired urologic problems, such as tumors and trauma.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide consultation and treatment to pediatric patients with overlapping problems of adolescence.

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Urology residency program.
- Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Urology accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Urology by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training.
- Demonstrate at least 50 pediatric urology procedures in the last 12 months (for applicants not directly out of fellowship).
