Pediatric surgery call coverage at a 390-bed regional medical center in the Eugene-Springfield, Oregon area. Pay is $3,611.52 per 24-hour call day (7a to 7a), with callback at $495.90 an hour. The first four callback hours are unpaid and already included in the call rate.
A Monday to Sunday call week comes to about $25,280 before callback. You cover solo, with 1 to 5 patients a day across infants, children, and adolescents. The ideal fit is one full week at a time, start and end times are flexible, and the department wants coverage as soon as credentialing allows.
Credentialing is on a fast track of 30 to 60 days. Travel is covered. An Oregon license in hand is required, and Oregon is not an IMLC state.
