Pediatric Surgeon

Carilion Clinic is seeking a Pediatric Surgeon to join an established group of three in Roanoke, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to work within Carilion Children's Hospital, a tertiary referral center and the only designated Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center west of Richmond. The position includes an academic appointment opportunity with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, supporting research and teaching interests.

• The facility includes an 8-bed PICU with flex into other critical care areas, a 27-bed inpatient unit, a 60-bed NICU/intermediate nursing unit, and a 27-bed Pediatric Emergency Department.
• Ground and air transportation services in the region are provided by the Carilion Clinic pediatric critical care transport team.

Compensation

• Min Starting Salary: $595,369
• Max Starting Salary: $637,256
• Incentive Pay: Yes
• Relocation Paid: Yes up to $15,000
• You are eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary.
• Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary.

Requirements

• Fellowship training in Pediatric Surgery
• ABMS/AOA-BE/BC in Pediatric Surgery required
