The role involves performing a large volume of index cases and actively participating in graduate medical education.

- Established in 1999, the practice has grown into a multidisciplinary pediatric surgical practice.
- The team includes 7 pediatric general and thoracic surgeons, 3 pediatric urologists, 2 pediatric plastic and reconstructive surgeons, and 2 pediatric surgical nurse practitioners.
- A large volume of index cases are performed including neonatal, head and neck, abdominal, thoracic, oncology, and laparoscopic.
- Surgeons actively participate in graduate medical education of surgery residents, interns, and medical students.
