Pediatric Surgeon

Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Surgeon for a PRN (Per Required Need) position in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves providing comprehensive care services for pediatric surgical patients and leading the care team to ensure efficient and compassionate care. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality patient outcomes and satisfaction within an established practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and be accountable for the overall quality of care and clinical outcomes of pediatric surgical patients
• Manage the physician/patient relationship, working to assure patient and family satisfaction with care
• Participate in system-wide health management initiatives
• Provide input into the practice site's financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues
• Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards
• Receive and resolve patient complaints
• Participate in the recruitment and replacement of other providers
• Consult with and advise other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric surgery patients
• Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in services, and workshops
• Participate in team and multispecialty group meetings
• Maintain coding and encounter data standards for completeness, accuracy, timeliness and reimbursement level, including legible documentation
• Assist in leading the Advanced Practice Clinicians in delivering appropriate patient education/care
