A well-established private practice is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a collaborative, energetic team in Livermore, CA. New graduates and international candidates are welcome! Strong mentorship and training are provided. This position comes with a wonderful career trajectory and the option to grow into leadership.

Position Highlights:

  • Under supervision of an SLP, provide one-one-one therapy in clinic and homes
  • Monitor and document client progress
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in case discussions and team meetings
  • Provide coaching to caregivers
  • Built-in documentation time
  • Option to work 11- or 12-month schedule

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $33-36/hour (guaranteed hours, clock in/out)

What you need:

  • Active or pending California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License
  • Pediatric experience preferred, but new grads are very welcome!
  • Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Passion for working with children in their natural environment and eagerness to learn
  • Confidence to coach parents and caregivers on strategies
  • Willingness to work until 6p-6:30p a few days per week.
