Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license for the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations
- Proficiency with school-based services
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
- Strong communication and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and staff collaboration
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff
- Utilize evidence-based practices and adapt interventions for on-site or teletherapy formats
