Pediatric Sleep Medicine Physician

Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated BC/BE Pediatric Sleep Medicine physician to join their expanding team in Fargo, North Dakota, with optional interest in Pediatric Pulmonology. Clinicians will work within a robust regional network supported by a comprehensive team of pediatric specialists, a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, and advanced facilities. Additionally, the position offers opportunities for academic involvement through a joint clinical faculty appointment with the UND School of Medicine and Health Science.

• Join the region's largest team of board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists
• Team includes 1 Pediatric Sleep Physician, clinical support staff, and pediatric-trained sleep techs
• Perform pediatric sleep studies in the Pediatric Sleep Lab for infants to 18
• Utilize a portable sleep unit for inpatient sleep studies
• Supported by more than 65 board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists in over 25 medical specialties, including ENT, pediatric surgery, orthopedic surgery, and neurosurgery
• Facility features a brand new medical center housing an 8-bed PICU with flex beds, a 24-bed pediatric unit, and a 40-bed Level III NICU at a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Sanford Health Fargo serves a large catchment area of 1.2 million across ND, MN, and parts of SD and MT
• Joint appointment as clinical faculty with the Department of Pediatrics at UND School of Medicine and Health Science teaching medical students and family medicine residents, as well as an upcoming pediatric residency in 2024

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric sleep studies in the Pediatric Sleep Lab for infants to 18
• Conduct inpatient sleep studies utilizing a portable sleep unit
• Teach medical students and family medicine residents as clinical faculty with the Department of Pediatrics at UND School of Medicine and Health Science

Compensation

• Nationally competitive compensation plan
• Annual compensation of $375,000 for the first two years of the employment contract
• Estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
• $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years
