Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Westminster, South Carolina

Make a meaningful difference working with elementary-aged students in an onsite, contract position supporting communication development. This full-time opportunity runs from ASAP through May 28, 2027, serving a single Blue Ridge Elementary caseload capped at 60 students. You'll collaborate with a team of 17 district Speech-Language Pathologists, providing specialized support for a mild caseload that includes students with AAC needs, ASD diagnoses, and non-verbal communication challenges.
This role welcomes experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellows (CFY), and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), with flexibility to accommodate your current credentialing status. Accepting candidates who hold or are actively pursuing a South Carolina SLP license, LLR, and teaching certification.
Desired qualifications:

• Credentials as SLP-CCC, Clinical Fellow (CFY), or SLPA
• Experience with pediatric populations in a school setting
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and autism spectrum disorders
• SC SLP license, LLR, and teaching certificate (can begin if pending)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized educational plans focusing on mild to moderate communication needs
• Collaborate closely with district SLPs and educational staff
• Accurately maintain records and contribute to evaluation processes
• Support students' functional communication for academic and social success
