Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Newberry, South Carolina

Make a difference in the lives of students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school-based setting near Newberry, SC. This onsite contract role offers an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively and support K-12 learners in achieving their communication and academic goals throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic testing for students with communication disorders
• Develop, write, and implement individualized IEPs tailored for each student
• Deliver direct therapyboth individual and group sessionswhile tracking progress and documenting results
• Participate in IEP meetings, interdisciplinary team consultations, and staff development events
• Work closely with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary staff to create positive outcomes for students

Position Details:

• Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
• Assignments may include 12 school sites within the region
• Serve a diverse K12 caseload (detailed caseload breakdown shared during interviews)
• Includes paid administrative time and team meeting hours
• Onsite placement is required

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active or in-process South Carolina SLP state license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
• Must successfully complete state background and fingerprinting checks before start date
• Prior K-12 school-based SLP experience preferred; adaptable new clinicians and CFYs are encouraged to apply
