This role involves a clinic-based practice with hospital consults across various pediatric units. The successful candidate will contribute to a growing Cystic Fibrosis program and work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

- Clinic-based practice with hospital consults throughout the Children's Hospital (NICU, Peds, PICU)
- Growing Cystic Fibrosis program which includes outpatient and inpatient care
- Affiliate Cystic Fibrosis center of the University of Minnesota with a dedicated team that includes General Pediatrics, Pediatric Infectious Disease, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Nutrition, Child Psychology, social work and respiratory therapy

Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit (if applicable to the setting)
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment or consultative services to children, adolescents, and young adults presenting with conditions, disorders, injuries, and diseases of the respiratory system, including lungs, cardiovascular and tracheobronchial systems, esophagus and other mediastinal contents, diaphragm and circulatory systems

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a Pediatric residency program followed by completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonary accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training unless waived by the appropriate governing Board
