Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and Queens, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Physiatrist. This role involves providing services to an urban, ethnically diverse, and underserved patient population within a dynamic academic setting. The successful candidate will join the pediatric faculty, offering both ambulatory care and inpatient consults at Elmhurst Hospital Center and Queens Hospital Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to ambulatory patients
• Provide inpatient consults to neonates at both hospitals
• Conduct two to three days per week of ambulatory sessions at Elmhurst Hospital Center
• Perform inpatient consults in the Level 3 NICU at Elmhurst
• Conduct one to two days per week of ambulatory sessions at Queens Hospital Center
• Perform inpatient consults in the Level 3 NICU at Queens
• Teach residents and medical students

Compensation

• The salary for this position ranges from $217,000 to $227,000
• Faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year

Requirements

• MD/DO degree
• BE or BC in Psychiatry
• Fellowship trained Pediatric Physiatrist
• Valid New York State License
• Valid DEA number
• Valid Medicaid number
