Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join their energetic ENT and Audiology team in Fargo, ND. This role involves providing comprehensive medical and surgical care to patients of all ages with head and neck disorders, including subspecialization in areas like head and neck oncology and facial plastic reconstructive surgery. The position offers an opportunity to work within a large, collegial group and contribute to medical education.

- Current physician group consists of five Otolaryngologists, 6 Audiologists, and 9 Advanced practice providers
- Subspecialization in Head & Neck Cancer Surgery, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Neurotology & Skull Base Surgery
- Block time in operating rooms
- Large primary care referral base
- Subspecialists' service population: over 1 million
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit (if applicable to setting)
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide consultation on comprehensive medical and surgical care to patients of all ages presenting with diseases, deformities, or disorders of the head and neck that affects the ears, nose, throat, respiratory and upper alimentary systems, and related structures of the head and neck
- Provide head and neck oncology and facial plastic reconstructive surgery
- Treat disorders of hearing and voice
- Teach medical students, surgery residents, as well as IM and FM residents

Requirements
- BC/BE Pediatric Otolaryngologist
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency Otolaryngology accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
- Experience can be demonstrated by residency log (for recent graduates) or quality profile from current hospital(s) showing clinical activity for the past 12 months, including numbers of procedures performed, morbidity, mortality, infection rates, and other complications
- Must be able to demonstrate at least 50 otolaryngology procedures in the last 12 months
