The Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time faculty position in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive pediatric otolaryngology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Aerodigestive and voice experience are desirable. The University of Maryland Medical Center has a large level IV neonatal intensive care unit that provides significant clinical opportunities. The clinical practice comprises urban and suburban practice locations.
Applicants must be board-eligible/certified in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery with fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology. They should be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Maryland.

This position requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), a strong commitment to patient care and teaching, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidates experience.
Expected Compensation Range: $350,000 to $600,000, depending on rank and experience.

The referenced compensation range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank.

This compensation range does not include all components of the department faculty compensation program or pay from participation in department variable compensation programs. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the compensation range stated herein. For more information, please contact the hiring department.
The referenced compensation range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicines good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidates geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.
