Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon
Bayley Scott & White Health is actively recruiting a fellowship-trained BC/BE, full-time Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple, Texas. The candidate will join a multispecialty employed group of 16 fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons and will have an academic affiliation with Baylor College of Medicine - Temple. An accredited orthopedic residency program is available, with academic appointment commensurate with experience.
Position Highlights
- Completed one year of fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery
- Willing to actively participate in education; preferred to have research experience and interest
- Experienced candidates may be considered for Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at McLane Children’s Hospital and Division Director of Pediatric Orthopaedics in Temple
- Will encounter a wide variety of ages and pathologies across all pediatric orthopaedic specialties; general pediatric orthopaedic surgeons desired with opportunity to develop a subspecialty niche
- EOS imaging and intra-operative CT available; work with a team of APPs and pediatricians in clinic
- Supported by a full complement of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties (oncology, hand, spine, sports)

Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to practice medicine in Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Board certified (or actively pursuing board certification) in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
