Occupational Therapist
We are an occupational therapy clinic located in Winder, GA, providing occupational, speech, physical, and feeding therapy to children in northeast Georgia.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs, evaluate and develop effective treatment plans, and modify care to meet therapy goals.
- Provide skilled therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
- Instruct patients and families on treatment plans.
- Advising, consulting, and instructing members of the multidisciplinary team in specific therapy modalities.
- Observe and report patient progress and/or changes in status to the physician and appropriate team members.
- Work with a mixed caseload including developmental delays, cognitive deficits, sensory disorders, fine motor delays, balance issues, handwriting difficulties, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders.
- Maintain documentation of reports, notes, and progress of therapy via the computer‑based program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current license as an Occupational Therapist in Georgia or a recent graduate.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and employees at all levels.
Ability to Relocate
- Winder, GA: Relocate before starting work (Required).
