Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapist
BayCare is currently searching for our newest Outpatient Occupational Therapist – Pediatrics who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. This outpatient pediatric position serves a diverse population of infants through school‑aged patients, with a heavy caseload of developmental delay and children on the spectrum. The role is based at Specialty Center Mease Countryside Hospital.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
- Opportunity to work with a variety of diagnoses and conditions—infants through school‑aged patients.
- Evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
- Heavy developmental delay and autism caseload.
- Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, Fitness Specialists, Massage Therapists, Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant students and volunteers.
- 3 or more years of Pediatric Outpatient experience preferred.
- Bilingual a plus.
- A supervising licensed Occupational Therapist may only supervise one permittee at any given time.
Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- OT (Occupational Therapy)
- Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain
- Required Bachelor’s Occupational Therapy degree
