Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Position Summary

As an outpatient pediatric clinician, you will work with children from birth to age twenty‑one, providing individualized one‑to‑one attention and customized care plans. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions to support home practice. This role promotes multidisciplinary collaboration and mentorship while allowing autonomy and growth within your area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
• Deliver evidence‑based interventions in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or ABA services.
• Educate parents and caregivers about treatment goals and home exercises.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Pursue specialties and advanced training as desired (e.g., Orthopedics, Vestibular, Pediatric, Neuro).

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current or pending licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Virginia.
• Demonstrated commitment to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.
