Job Summary

The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat developmental disorders in children ages 0-21. This position requires working collaboratively with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to implement effective treatment plans that promote age-appropriate development and enhance overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of developmental skills in children with varying needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with families to integrate therapy goals into daily activities.
  • Provide direct therapy interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative approaches that engage children in meaningful activities.
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate families and caregivers about therapy strategies and provide resources to support their child’s development.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, physical/speech therapists, and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in the field of occupational therapy.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Idaho state licensure (or eligibility) as a Occupational Therapist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • CF Mentorships for new graduates are available.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations and families.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about industry trends.

Pay

Pay is based upon experience. We offer market rate hourly pay for full-time/part-time positions.
