Role Description The Pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) will support licensed occupational therapists in delivering evidence-based interventions to children in an on-site clinical setting in Surprise, AZ. This full-time role includes implementing treatment plans, facilitating individual and small group therapy sessions, documenting progress, and assisting with evaluations under the supervision of an occupational therapist. Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration within pediatric settings.
- Experience and comfort working with Pediatrics and Early Intervention populations.
- Ability and enthusiasm for Working With Children in a therapeutic, developmental, and family-centered context.
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and eligibility for Arizona licensure.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience in outpatient pediatric therapy, school-based services, or related settings is preferred.
