- Specialty: Pediatric Neurosurgery - academic faculty position
- Volume: Conservatively 100 cases in year one, scaling to 200+ once established
- Call: Experienced APPs provide 24/7 hospital coverage and take first call
- Team: Division of 2 physician faculty plus a dedicated team of PAs, pediatric NPs, and RNs
- Support: Dedicated Neuro-ICU; state-of-the-art equipment and unparalleled program infrastructure
- Collaboration: Weekly multidisciplinary conference with radiology; active spina bifida clinic; close integration with pediatric subspecialists and referring physicians
Responsibilities
- One day of clinic per week
- Remaining four days split between OR, research, floor coverage, and administrative time
- Resident teaching
