Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Neurologist to join their expansive pediatric specialty team at Sanford Children's Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. This clinic-based practice includes hospital consults, a pediatric epilepsy monitoring unit, and academic teaching opportunities as clinical faculty with the UND School of Medicine and Health Science. The provider will work alongside a growing multidisciplinary team serving a large, multi-state catchment area.

- Growing team consisting of 1 physician and 1 advanced practice provider
- Pediatric epilepsy monitoring unit located within the Children's hospital
- Well-established pediatric team including 65+ pediatric sub-specialists
- Sanford Medical Center is a designated comprehensive stroke center, level 1 trauma for adults and the only level 2 pediatric trauma unit
- Sanford Health Fargo serves a large catchment area of 1.2 million throughout ND, MN and parts of SD and MT
- Joint appointment as clinical faculty with Department of Pediatrics at UND School of Medicine and Health Science
Responsibilities
- Provide clinic-based practice with hospital consults throughout the 72+ bed Children's Hospital
- Teach medical students and family medicine residents as clinical faculty with Department of Pediatrics at UND School of Medicine and Health Science
- Serve as faculty in future adult neurology residency program
Compensation
- Annual compensation of $330,000 for the first two years of the employment contract
- Estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
- $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years
