Pediatric Neurologist

The Children's Hospital of Michigan is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist to join its nationally ranked neurology division in Detroit. Practice Info

• Join an 11-physician team that includes four board-certified epileptologists, two clinical neuropsychologists, and two genetics counselors
• Work collaboratively within a NAEC Level IV Epilepsy Center and Level 1 Trauma Center
• Division of 11 pediatric neurologists plus NPs, RNs, and MAs
• Access to advanced imaging: 3-T MRI, PET scanners, low-radiation CT, and dedicated pediatric neuroradiologists
• ACGME-accredited pediatric neurology residency and pediatric epilepsy fellowship programs
• Robust research infrastructure including six NIH-funded grants in epilepsy and neurophysiology

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinical responsibilities with academic protected time
• Shared call with Pediatric Neurology and Adult Neurology residents
• Subspecialty clinic work within a multidisciplinary team model
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology
• Subspecialty fellowship training in Epilepsy or Movement Disorders
• Interest in subspecialty clinic work within a multidisciplinary team model
• Commitment to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
• Eligible to obtain Michigan medical licensure
