The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is seeking a dynamic and energetic general pediatric neurologist to join its rapidly expanding multidisciplinary pediatric neuroscience program. This role offers a significant opportunity to contribute to and further develop both general and subspecialty neuroscience programs within a supportive and established healthcare system. Practice Info

  • Part of AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG), which employs over 900 physicians across 60+ specialties.
  • The pediatric neuroscience center includes a Level IV comprehensive epilepsy center, sleep center, multidisciplinary neurofibromatosis clinic, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex clinic, congenital neurosurgery clinic, and craniofacial clinic.
  • Supported by a strong group of neuroradiologists and neuropsychologists.
  • Dedicated 8-bed epilepsy monitoring unit and 5 dedicated outpatient EEG rooms, in addition to ambulatory EEGs.
  • Diagnostic facilities include state-of-the-art 3T MRIs, PET, SPECT, and a MEG center.
  • The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is a full-service, tertiary children's hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 pediatric ICU beds with a dedicated pediatric CICU, a 102-bed NICU, and a 17-bed pediatric emergency department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive general neurology service in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Build subspecialty programs including, but not limited to, neuromuscular, neonatal, immunology, stroke, neurocutaneous syndrome, movement disorder, and spasticity programs.

Requirements

  • BE/BC through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualification in pediatric neurology.
  • Current FL license, or ability to obtain.
  • Strong communication skills with a patient-first mindset.
