  • Follow 40-50 chronic pediatric dialysis patients.
  • Offer dedicated clinics for kidney transplantation, peritoneal dialysis, hypertension, transition of kidney transplant patients, lupus, and chronic kidney disease.
  • Have an ACGME accredited fellowship program with six superb fellows.
  • Have grown from two faculty and one APP in 2006 to 16 faculty, eight APPs, and six fellows.
  • Our faculty hold leadership positions in ASPN, AAP, AST, CKiD, IROC, OPTN, and CureGN.

There are opportunities for clinical research within our Pediatric Research Center, including cores for processing and storage of patient samples, grant writing, and statistical support. Our division has over 40 IRB-approved protocols and five full-time research coordinators, making it one of the most active pediatric nephrology clinical research programs in the United States.
