Make a Difference in a Child’s Life

Affirmed Home Care is expanding our Pediatric Division and is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated 1:1 care to an 11-year-old pediatric client in Paramus, NJ .

This child requires nursing support including nebulizer treatments and suctioning . The ideal candidate will be confident and experienced in pediatric care and proficient in suctioning .

Spanish bilingual/Spanish-speaking skills are required for this position.

Schedule
  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Saturday–Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate 1:1 pediatric nursing care in the client's home.
  • Administer and assist with prescribed nebulizer treatments .
  • Perform suctioning safely and appropriately.
  • Monitor the child's condition and report changes to the appropriate clinical team.
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the child's family and Affirmed Home Care's pediatric clinical leadership team.
  • Follow the individualized plan of care and all applicable nursing standards.
Qualifications
  • Active New Jersey LPN License
  • Preferred 1 year pediatric experience (home care or acute care)
  • Proficiency in suctioning required
  • Experience with nebulizer treatments preferred
  • Spanish-speaking/bilingual required
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Physical exam completed within the past 12 months
  • PPD or QuantiFERON within the past year, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
  • Proof of flu vaccination or medical exemption
