Pediatric Instructor

Golisano Children's Hospital is seeking an Instructor for its General Pediatric Division within the Department of Pediatrics. This role offers an active clinical practice in a multidisciplinary division with opportunities for research, teaching, and academic advancement. The Instructor will dedicate a minimum of 75% effort to research supported by an NIH-funded T32 grant as part of the Primary Care Fellowship program.

• The General Pediatric Division is a multidisciplinary division.
• The pediatric practice is Rochester's largest pediatric clinic, serving over 13,500 children in the greater Rochester area.
• The practice is recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Certified Patient-Centered Medical Home.
• Focus on improving health-care delivery and health outcomes for vulnerable children and youth.

Responsibilities

• Join an active clinical practice.
• Contribute to the academic mission of the division through participation in scholarly activities.
• Participate in research publications, publications of quality improvement projects, educational scholarship, reviews, chapters or books.
• Participate in clinical trials and/or clinical investigations.
• Participate in academic presentations and review of manuscripts or grants.
• Dedicate a minimum 75% effort to research supported by a NIH funded T32 grant.

Compensation

• Compensation: $62,232
• Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
• Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
