Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician

Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician to join their team in Fargo, ND. This role involves an outpatient clinic and inpatient consultant practice in the region's only Level II trauma Children's Hospital. Providers will also have the opportunity for a joint appointment as clinical faculty with the Department of Pediatrics at the UND School of Medicine and Health Science.

• 24/7 in-house coverage by pediatric hospitalist, NICU, and PICU teams
• Team currently consists of 2 MD's and 1 Nurse Practitioner
• Sanford Medical Center houses a 12-bed PICU, 24-bed pediatric unit, and 40-bed Level III NICU
• Joint appointment as clinical faculty with Department of Pediatrics at UND School of Medicine and Health Science
• Pediatric Subspecialty Loan Repayment Program (PSLRP) eligible site

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinic and inpatient consultant practice care
• Participate in consultative service with 24/7 call coverage approximately 1 week at a time
• Teach medical students, family medicine, and pediatric residents in a joint appointment as clinical faculty

Compensation

• Nationally competitive compensation plan
• Compensation floor of $250,000 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
• $100,000 incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 3 years
