Pediatric Hospitalist

AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a dynamic and energetic Pediatric Hospitalist to join their team at AdventHealth Tampa, in association with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality pediatric care within an expanding children's hospital network, focusing on family-centered practice. Practice Info

• Perform pediatric admissions in a 15-bed Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit.
• Support ED pediatric consults.
• Coverage in the Level 1 Newborn Nursery with the support of an Advanced Practice Provider.
• 28-bed, Level 3 NICU on site with 24/7 Neonatologist coverage.
• 5-bed, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on site with intensivist coverage.
• Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Medical Specialty support on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric admissions.
• Participate in daily family centered rounding.
• Support ED pediatric consults.
• Provide coverage in the Level 1 Newborn Nursery.

Shift & Schedule

• Flexible schedule, approximately 14, 12hr shifts per month for a full-time pediatric hospitalist, which will include days, nights and weekends.
