Pediatric Hospitalist

CompHealth is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment, offering true opportunities tailored to your career needs. This role involves inpatient pediatric care, including nursery Level I and PED ED calls, in an inpatient hospital setting. The position offers flexible scheduling with 12-hour shifts and competitive weekly pay.

Practice Info

• Inpatient hospital setting
• No deliveries, as NICU handles them

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatrics care
• Manage 5 inpatient cases per day
• Handle 2-3 admissions per day
• Oversee 5-6 nursery cases per day
• Take PED ED calls at night
• Perform lumbar punctures

Compensation

• Hourly rate of $125 - $150
• Rates are all-inclusive and combine an hourly base pay with other potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly

Requirements

• Skills required: inpatient pediatrics, nursery Level I, lumbar puncture
• NRP certification required
• PALS certification required
