Our San Antonio pediatric hospitalist group is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to join their busy practice at Methodist Children's Hospital. This role involves providing comprehensive coverage for pediatric patients, working alongside experienced nurse practitioners, and managing a mix of day and night shifts. The position offers an opportunity to practice in a growing city known for its affordable cost of living and abundant outdoor activities.
Practice Info
- Coverage at Methodist Children's Hospital
- Average of 10-15 pediatric patients daily on hospital medicine shifts
- Work alongside experienced nurse practitioners for newborn nursery coverage
- Care for patients admitted to the medical/surgical floors and intermediate care unit
- Hospital has PICU and NICU on site
Responsibilities
- Provide coverage at Methodist Children's Hospital
- Work alongside experienced nurse practitioners for newborn nursery coverage
- Provide night coverage in-house from 6PM to midnight, with home call from midnight to 6 AM
- Care for patients admitted to the medical/surgical floors and intermediate care unit

Shift & Schedule
