Job Description

Nemours Children’s Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a PRN clinical pediatric hospitalist to join our growing team. The team includes 12 physicians with a combined experience of over 120 years of hospital medicine. The practice operates out of Wolfson Children’s Hospital, a 276‑bed tertiary care children’s hospital, the only children’s hospital in five counties in northern Florida.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care to hospitalized children in the NF and neighboring areas.
• Teach pediatric hospital medicine fellows, family medicine residents, and medical students from affiliated institutions.
• Collaborate with all medical and surgical specialties and ancillary services.
• Serve in leadership roles within the hospital, residency program, utilization management, and clinical operations.
• Participate in the VIP network and multi‑site projects.

Qualifications

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in pediatrics or pediatric hospital medicine.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Florida medical license.
