AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking dynamic and energetic Pediatric Hospitalists with a focus on inpatient pediatric care to join their team at the Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando. This role offers the opportunity to work within an expanding children's hospital and a strong employed physician multi-specialty group. The position provides a family-centered practice atmosphere and a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Practice Info
- In-house coverage within medical/surgical pediatric units
- Collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers on respective pediatric units
- Opportunity to work with residents through partnership with Graduate Medical Education
- All major surgical and medical sub-specialties on site, including Liver & Kidney Transplant
- Hospitalist team consists of over 30 physicians and APPs
- EPIC EMR System
Responsibilities
- Rotating with other pediatric hospitalists providing in-house coverage within medical/surgical pediatric units
- Performing pediatric admissions to the dedicated Pediatric Units
- Performing ED pediatric consults as needed
- Participating in daily family-centered rounding
