Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join a well-established group of 5 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider at Sanford Children's Hospital. This role involves providing primary hospital and normal newborn nursery care, coordinating referrals to specialists, and contributing to a culture of innovation and supportive administration. Responsibilities
- Provide primary hospital care
- Provide normal newborn nursery care
- Coordinate referrals to specialists
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients from birth to young adulthood (21 years of age) concerning their physical, emotional, and social health
- Treat acute and chronic disease, including major complicated illnesses

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Ability to demonstrate at least 50 pediatric patients in the last 12 months
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency Pediatric program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
