- Join a developed Pediatric Hospitalist program with full staff support at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center
- Level II nursery
- Average daily pediatric census: 2.5
- Average daily newborn census: 8
- Five OB/GYN Physicians
- 800 deliveries per year on average
Responsibilities
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients from birth to young adulthood (21 years of age) concerning their physical, emotional, and social health
- Treat acute and chronic disease, including major complicated illnesses
Compensation
- Nationally competitive compensation plan
- Annual compensation range (based on 1.0 FTE): $207,279 - $268,243

Shift & Schedule
- Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
- 169 x 12 hour shifts per year

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Experience can be demonstrated by providing a residency log (for recent graduates) or a quality profile from current hospital(s) showing clinical activity for the past 12 months, including numbers of procedures performed, morbidity, mortality, infection rates, and other complications
- Ability to demonstrate at least 50 pediatric patients in the last 12 months
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency Pediatric program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
