Pediatric Hospitalist

Pediatrix is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to provide exceptional inpatient care at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan. This role involves managing a broad spectrum of pediatric cases, from acute medical conditions to surgical consults, for infants, children, and adolescents. The successful candidate will join a high-performing, multidisciplinary team focused on delivering comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centered care in a supportive environment.

Practice Info

• Care provided within a Level II NICU / Special Care Nursery environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient care, including daily rounds, admissions, and discharges
• Interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, and manage ongoing treatment plans
• Perform essential pediatric procedures such as IV placement, lumbar punctures, and resuscitations
• Collaborate with subspecialists, surgeons, and primary care providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to resident education and mentorship

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program
• Eligible for Michigan medical licensure
