SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to join a large pediatric group with locations throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. The provider will deliver comprehensive care including pediatric ED coverage, newborn rounds, and attendance at c-sections and deliveries. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling options with PRN, part-time, and full-time positions available on 12-hour day or night shifts.

Responsibilities
- Provide Pediatric ED coverage
- Round on newborns
- Attend c-sections and deliveries
- Handle admission, management, and discharge of pediatric patients in conjunction with attending physicians as appropriate
- Evaluate patients and perform procedures as deemed appropriate by the Glennon Care Pediatrics Medical Director
- Respond to requests for pediatric consults from other departments and the Emergency Department
- Be available at all times during scheduled shifts to provide care to neonates in the nursery and consult with the neonatologist as appropriate
- Collaborate with advance practice nurses (APN) and program team members to ensure continuity and timeliness of care
Shift & Schedule
- 12 hrs shifts day/night
- PRN, Part Time, Full Time position needs
Requirements
- BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist
- NRP Certification
- Comply with all designated hospital bylaws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
