Pediatric Hospitalist

Alaska Neonatology Associates, part of Pediatrix Medical Group, is seeking a pediatric hospitalist to join their dynamic team in Anchorage, AK. The provider will deliver comprehensive hospital-based neonatal and pediatric services across Alaska Regional Hospital and Providence Alaska Medical Center. This role involves 24-hour shifts with call from home, managing newborn nurseries, attending high-risk deliveries, and participating in program development and student preceptor opportunities. Practice Info

• 6+ pediatric hospitalist team sharing a group practice with a team of neonatologists
• Simultaneous coverage of Providence Alaska Medical Center and Alaska Regional Hospital
• Providence Alaska Medical Center features a Level I newborn nursery with an average daily census of 4
• Alaska Regional Hospital features an inpatient pediatric unit, Level II NICU, and a Well Newborn Nursery
• EMR is Epic at both sites

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital-based neonatal and pediatric services in southcentral Alaska
• Provide consults as needed in the Emergency Department at Alaska Regional Hospital
• Attend high-risk deliveries
• Involve in program development and quality improvement activities
• Provide didactics and preceptor opportunities for 3rd year medical students
